We have released a new version of the firmware of this device. It is most important to update the board to this latest standard.
It is highly recommended that when you have one or more of these boards in stock to do the update before selling the board.

DGT Bluetooth e-board software upgrades
On July 20th, 2010 we have released a new version (1.21) of the firmware of the Bluetooth board. It is very important to update your firmware to this version, because it solves many problems that the boards had in the past, including wrong recognition of the chess pieces.
It also solved the problem of sliding pieces being recognized on intermediate squares.
Please check your version first with the DGT BoardTester. If you have a version number lower than 1.06 then upgrade to 1.06 first before upgrading to 2.01.

Improvements in version 2.01firmware
- Fixed bugs causing inaccurate battery level tracking;
- Battery monitoring keeps track fairly accurate now;
- Fixed bug that prevented downgrading back to 1.06.
Improvements in version 2.00 firmware
- Improved piece scanning stability;
- Suppression of intermediary position reports, for pieces sliding more than one square;
- Double detection of a sliding piece has been fixed;
- Revised game logging functionality - stores games properly now;
- Completely revised battery monitoring functionality;
-Updates bootloader to 2.0.
