WoodIn is a PlugIn for usage with the Internet Chess Club's BlitzIn. With WoodIn, you can play games on the Internet Chess Club with the DGT elctronic chess board. If you have a DGT XL clock connected too, you can choose to show the moves of the opponent on its display. Optionally, WoodIn can speak your moves and/or the opponentes moves.
When WoodIn starts up, it loads the DGT Electronic Board Driver. This driver handles all communction with the electronic board. It is required even if you just use WoodIn for speaking the moves and don't use a DGT board. For help about the driver, click here.
There are some options you can set in WoodIn.
When checked, WoodIn will automatically seek a game for you, when you place the initial chess position on the DGT electronic board. You have to enter the initial amount of minutes and the increment time in seconds.
When checked, and the "startposition seeks" option is checked too, you can specify in the seek if you want to play the white or the black pieces. First setup the initial chess position. Next, lift the white king and place it back to seek a game to play with white, or lift and place the black king to seek a game to play with black.
